There are so many diets out there which makes it hard to know which one is going to be best for any one particular person. So, I’m glad you have tried to articulate a few of them. It may take trying two or three to see which one works.
Drinking water also helps clean out the body of impurities, keeps the kidneys functioning well as well as help fill one up. I have heard it suggested that drinking a glass of water before a meal is supposed to help reduce the amount one eats. Does this make sense?
On the other side of things though, I would agree that a good exercise program would be something to incorporate into any diet program even if all you do is a brisk walk every day and add in resistance training. Whatever we can do to improve our health will also reduce our visits to the doctor and our burden on the health care system ( here in Canada and other places that have universal health care).
