Essential Vitamins & Minerals List: “Review Trivita’s Vitadaily”
All you need to know about Essential Vitamins & Minerals
Trying to get all the nutrients from your kitchen instead of the medicine cabinet can be difficult. As a realist, meeting all your nutritional needs every time is not possible. Therefore, the right way to get the best from your lifestyle is to blend it with dietary supplements. That’s why the essential vitamins & minerals list reviewing Trivita’s Vitadaily is all you need.
On top of that, other life factors can make supplementation necessary — age, pregnancy, health conditions, or even when one is a strict vegan.
One 2002 study found that vitamin deficiencies are primarily linked to chronic diseases. As a result, supplementation may help. Certainly, a complete diet may not be offering you all the nutrients you need. That’s when multivitamins come in.
For beginners, a daily multivitamin can be an excellent foundation for your health. Ideally, it can protect you when you are sleeping poorly, experiencing stress, or not getting regular workouts. Even with a “perfect” diet, these challenges can make it difficult for your body to absorb the nutrients properly.
However, with so many vitamins and mineral combos, getting the right one can be complicated. Luckily, you don’t need to worry anymore. Nutritionists have offered great recommendations for the right path — essential vitamins & minerals

Top 6 Essential Vitamins & Minerals For Your Healthy Lifestyle
1. Vitamin D
Vitamin D helps to absorb calcium, — which is essential for bone health. Therefore, when you are not getting enough of this vitamin increases the risk of developing several health disorders. For instance, it raises:
- Likelihood of getting sick
- Chances of having bone and back pain
- Possibility of developing hair loss
While you should be able to obtain vitamin D technically by being in the sun for 15 minutes, the fact is that over 40% of people in the United States don’t. Ideally, working in an office for 9 to 5 hours, living in wintery locations with little sunlight, or applying sunscreen (that blocks vitamin D synthesis) can make it difficult to get vitamin D. Also, this vitamin is hard to come by in food, — which is why most dieticians have advised that you look for this ingredient in your multivitamins. But which are the best foods with vitamin D? Here is all you need to know!
- Egg yolks
- Fatty fish
- Fortified foods such as milk, juice, and cereal.
2. Magnesium
This is an essential nutrient that the body requires to maintain a healthy metabolic process. Ideally, being an essential nutrient means that we must obtain it from food or supplements. Because the body can not produce it when it is vital for metabolism. According to scientific studies, magnesium is best recommended for being crucial for bone health and energy production. Essentially, magnesium has more benefits than that. According to various studies, this nutrient:
- Regulates muscle and nerve functions
- Makes bone, protein, and even DNA
- Calms the nervous system
- Balances the blood sugar levels
- Reduces stress after 90 days
- Can ease sleep problems,
Surprisingly, a lot of people are magnesium deficient. This is because they aren’t eating the right amount of foods rich in this element. Most people avoid eating pumpkin, spinach, artichoke, soybeans, brown rice, beans, tofu, or nuts.
3. Calcium
Over 40% of the U.S. population isn’t getting enough calcium from their diet. That is a sign that a significant number of Americans don’t get the required mineral for healthy bones and teeth.
Ideally, women start losing bone density earlier. So, getting enough calcium from the start can be the best nutritional defense against this loss. But where do they get calcium?
- Fortified cereals
- Milk, cheese, and yogurt
- Nuts and nut butter
- Beans and lentils
- Salty fish
- Foods with calcium
- Broccoli and kale
Blending your diet with these foods will offer you enough calcium for a healthy lifestyle.
4. Zinc
According to progressive scientific studies, Zinc tends to be less in older people than in other groups. Also, those who are under a lot of stress have low levels of zinc.
That makes sense. Usually, zinc supports the immune system. And it helps the body utilize proteins, carbohydrates, and fat for energy. On top of that, this element aids in the healing process of wounds:
- Foods with zinc
- Oysters
- Grass-fed beef
- Tahini
- Sardines
- Brown rice
- Wheat germ
- Tempeh
- Pumpkin seeds
- Spinach
- Organ meats
Indeed, the average American diet isn’t able to offer enough. Also, the body can’t store this essential nutrient, which is why Trivita recommends your daily supplements highlighting this ingredient.
5. Iron
“Iron should be the most significant part of your multivitamin. However, not everyone needs the same amount of this element. Because some people are more deficient than others. Particularly, expectant women mothers, breastfeeding mothers, and ladies above 14 years old.
Also, the anemic group requires a lot of foods rich in iron. Aside from that, all youths and elders need a lot of iron for their health. That’s why they need to enrich their diet with irons. Because the benefits of this element are great!
- Increase healthy red blood cells
- Enhance increased energy
- Offer better brain function
Practically, those people who eat red meat will get enough iron. However, certain circumstances like going through puberty, having the menstrual cycle, and being pregnant increase the amount of iron needed by the body.
Because iron is essential during rapid growth and development, however, vegetarians and vegans may have it difficult to get enough iron. So, they may want to make their multivitamin full of iron.

The B-vitamin complex is equivalent to a factory, which is made up of 8 diligent workers banding together to create and sustain the body’s energy supply. Essentially, B- 12 is responsible for breaking down the micronutrients that one consumes. These include fats, proteins, and carbs.
Naturally, each element of the B complex has a specialized role. For example, B-12 works to keep the body’s nerves as well as the blood cells healthy. Also, B-12 helps make DNA, which is the genetic material in all cells.
Either way, both vegans and vegetarians are vulnerable to vitamin B-12 deficiency. Because most of the food sources of B-12 are animal-based such as meat, poultry, fish, and eggs.

I am so happy I bumped into this article about essential vitamins. Recently I had some health concerns myself, luckily nothing serious came out of testing, but it is very confronting when our body tells us a message. I agree that it is hard to get all nutrition we need out of our diet. However, I am ambitious trying, and one of thing I always try to remember is to eat as many different varieties and colors as I can. I also include vegetables in snacks and lunch instead of the only diner.
I have used multivitamins and such throughout my life and learned during pregnancy the benefits of quality iron supplements. Previously I used cheaper ones, but they gave many issues. However, keep using multi vitamines I never seem to be consistent with perhaps because I can’t tell the difference of I to add to my diet or not. Maybe I have not used the right ones?
I will save your article and may try out Trivita’s to see if I feel any different, adding them to my diet.
I would like to thank you for a thorough, and very informative article about such an essential topic as vitamines are the fuel of our body.
Best wishes.

After COVID 19, many people are more concerned about their health and immune system against viruses. The sales of supplements are picking up in South East Asia due to the advisement from the television. Some advertisement was warned by Singapore government if they are boosting their sales by saying can cure COVID 19. Selling supplements online has a good prospect in the next many years.
Most people staying in South East Asia will not be lacking vitamin D, but it is true is needed by people at the location’s lack of sunshine. Vitamin C is taking by many people here when they have a flux. Magnesium and zinc can be less aware of many people but is essential to everyone. The daily meal of Asian people taking eggs and red meat almost every day, iron can be less concerned by people here. B vitamin complex and fish oil is an essential supplement that everyone can take every day.
I have taken B vitamin complex and fish oil daily, occasionally taking vitamin C when feeling cold at night. Magnesium and zinc are of interest to me; I will look into it. Iron and vitamin D I am not so worried. Thanks for creating a neat and informative article for sharing with us.
